CD Project RED’s critically acclaimed Fantasy RPG, The Witcher 2, is finally making its way to the Xbox 360.
Not content with just porting the patched PC version of the game, CD Project are adding extra story content for the 360. The news on the 360 version and even more details about both PC and Xbox additions coming in the new patch were disclosed by story designer and writer Justin Bartkowicz in an interview with Eurogamer.
Justin gave a few hints as to how the storyline would be improved upon, saying, “I cannot say anything very particular … [The] Majority of this is some stuff that will make the story bigger, show some back story, show some additional events”.
There was no announcement of an exact release date – Justin even claimed he, “didn’t even know the month yet,” but we can hope to hear more news on the patch and an eventual release soon enough. In addition, The Witcher 2 patch 2.0 will be released for free to current owners of the PC version. Seems like a good idea to give those without extremely high end computers a chance to play this great RPG.
