If any of you have been on the fence about what platform to buy Battlefield 3 for, a recent announcement from the PlayStation Blog may be just the push you need. They’re reporting that all DLC, beginning with “Back to Karkand,” will be timed exclusives for the PS3. While 360 owners have had the luxury of enjoying Call of Duty DLC a month ahead of the rest, PS3 owners will be able to play the Battlefield 3 DLC a whole week ahead of everyone else. While this isn’t a huge advantage, it may be another reason to buy the game for the PS3, beyond the fact that it will ship on a single disc for the platform.
Battlefield 3 will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 25th.
