During Tecmo’s presentation at the Tokyo Game Show, it was revealed that Dead or Alive 5 is currently in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Head of the studio, Yosuke Hayashi, asked press to turn off all cameras and recording equipment, so no footage or screenshots of the pre-alpha build currently exist. Reports from those at the conference indicate that the footage demonstrated Ryu Hayabusa trading punches with Hayate in an urban arena similar to the Shibuya section of Tokyo.
Piki Geek had some expectations when Team Ninja teased that they had something new to show off at TGS and, if we were betting men and women, we’d have made out big. Dead or Alive 5 is expected to be out for Xbox and PS3 sometime next year.
