20 Minute Skyrim Video Asks Why You’re Still Reading This Headline

There are very few things that need to be said about the following 20 minutes of Skyrim footage, shown in demo form at the most recent E3, QuakeCon and PAX shows. Todd Howard, the game’s director, narrates the action: the details of development, spell usage, Nordic ruins, menu design, finishing moves, and how awesome mammoths look close up.

While the video is full of beautiful sights, there are also interesting elements to be heard, such as Todd describing the over 150 uniquely designed dungeons and detailing the complexity of the graphics engine. Perhaps the most intriguing element is getting to see live interaction with a dragon – previously described as being unpredictable and challenging, with battles that can happen at a moment’s notice.
