MAGFest is the greatest event in the United States. It’s better than E3, it’s better than PAX, it’s even better than Saturday night at Josh’s house. Standing for “Music and Gaming Festival”, MAGFest is a four-day party held at the beginning of every year in the D.C. area. If you’re into games, gaming bands, or just getting destroyed on questionable beverages night after night while hanging with the coolest people imaginable, join us at MAGFest.
This year, the celebrity line-up includes the likes of Ellen Mclain (GLaDOS), Jon St. John (Duke Nukem), John Patrick Lowrie (Valve voice actor), Hey Ash Watcha Playin’?, Eric Ruth (of Eric Ruth Games) and many more. While you’re there, dig the tunes of Metroid Metal, Bit Brigade, and The Megas, as well as a handful of unannounced gaming-oriented bands.
The shindig begins Thursday, January 5th and lasts until Sunday evening, and it’s hosted at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. Whether you’re about getting your rock on at the concerts or hanging out in the enormous arcade and console hall, if you’ve got an ounce of geek blood in you, MAGFest is your jam. Trust us.
We’ll see you there.

I will SO be there
I want to be there. Damn you geography!
