A Mass Effect Facebook Game May Be In Development, God Help Us All

Recent developments suggest that EA is planning a Mass Effect game for Facebook. The speculation is fueled by recent job postings in which the company is reportedly looking to hire new blood to work on a “social game for gamers”.

While the job postings do not specifically mention the Mass Effect franchise – considering EA’s relative success with the Dragon Age: Legends Facebook game released ahead of Dragon Age 2, and the imminent release of Mass Effect 3 early next year – it would be safe to assume that Mass Effect is the target for this “social game”. One that, it must be pointed out again, is apparently meant for gamers.

Mass Effect 3 is due out for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on March 6, 2012.
