Someone keen on leveling his stealth and subterfuge abilities in real life has apparently broken into the Call of Duty XP event and taken a video of navigating through Modern Warfare 3′s multiplayer game menus.
The video is now being actively purged from YouTube by Activision. The video itself doesn’t show any major gameplay, but it does hint at a few things.
One detail confirmed from the video is that some matchups will allow up to 32 players, an increase from the 18 in previous games. You can also see that along with the classic Team Deathmatch mode, there is a new multiplayer mode called Bomb, about which absolutely nothing is known.
The video also reveals some names of the multiplayer maps, which are: Carbon, Coast, Dome, Exchange, Hardhat, Interchange, Lambeth, Meteora, Mogadishu, Paris, Plaza, Radar and Seatown. No other details about these maps are forthcoming, so use your imagination, I suppose.
Check out the pilfered footage after the break, before Activision takes it down.
