THQ has released a 12 minute video of Metro: Last Light, the sequel to 2008’s underappreciated survivalist FPS Metro 2033. While this preview is based on earlier videos released at E3, it expands on them quite a bit.
For those that didn’t play the first game, Metro 2033 was a solid atmospheric game with a lot of great ideas. Unfortunately, the game lacked the production values and polish of its more mainstream contemporaries, which did hurt the game in areas (especially in the AI department).
Judging from this footage of Last Light, it looks as if THQ have put a lot of resources into the sequel to make it the full triple-A experience that the original deserved to be.
Check out the trailer after the break.
