Borderlands 2 wasn’t announced that long ago, and every member of the media and gaming public is jumping at whatever tidbits of information they can get their hands on. The latest bit of information comes out of a GameSpot interview with Scott Kester, Borderlands 2 designer, that sheds a little more light on this upcoming sequel.
The downside is that there isn’t a whole lot that hasn’t been said or hinted at before. Kester explains how the game will incorporate more diverse enemies, a larger world and improved enemy AI. The most disappointing item of note is that Kester wasn’t able to divulge any new information regarding the brand new classes outside of the already mentioned Gunzerker.
While there may not be anything new to make you salivate even more than you already should be over this sequel, it should still satiate your Borderlands hunger until the next bit of news comes out. Check it out it after the jump.
Borderlands 2 will be hitting the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime after April 2012.

better ai? THANK YOU!
I’m just happy that they decided to rework the characters and the weapons, that’s gunna breath a whole new life into the game I believe.
That, and hopefully the story is somewhat engaging, even though it REALLY doesn’t need to be for me to be having fun =P
