New Footage from Uncharted 3 Could Make Hollywood Weep

Seven minutes of previously unseen gameplay footage from Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception has been released online for all to see after it was highlighted at Sony’s Gamescom press conference. The preview reveals a tender moment between Drake and returning squeeze Elena before escalating into a fully blown, action packed cliffhanger.

A large part of me wants to go on an Uncharted 3 media blackout from here on in. I firmly believe the game is going to be great, but I don’t want any part of the experience to be spoiled for me. At the same time, footage like this and the E3 ship demo is more riveting than any action scene from some Hollywood blockbuster, and I just can’t help but be drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be hitting the PS3 on November 1st, a date which, in my opinion, can’t come quickly enough.
