Up until now, we only knew that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was set to be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, leaving the fate of a Wii version of the game uncertain. Well, you can stop panicking. Eurogamer is reporting that an investor call with Activision has revealed that the title is slated for a release on Nintendo’s console after all.
The effort is apparently being done “so as not to leave any of the community out of the excitement” according to publishing executive Eric Hirshberg, who made the announcement during the call. This will mark the return of the Modern Warfare series to the system, as a Wii version of Modern Warfare 2 was entirely MIA.
It’s wonderful news to hear that this crisis has been averted, and I’m sure all two dozen people who were holding out for the Wii version of the title will join me in a sigh of relief.
Modern Warfare 3 rolls out November 8th.

WELL THANK GOD
I can’t imagine owning JUST a Wii and not some other superior gaming machine (e.g. PC, PS3, or Xbox 360), which is the only demographic the Wii version will be targeted to. Hopefully those two dozen sales will make porting it to the Wii worth it for Activision (my guess is “No”).
the article has a good view about wii controller !!
