According to a recently uncovered résumé, Crysis developer Crytek may already be plugging away at a brand new FPS for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The CV in question belonged to Crytek developer and gameplay programmer David Ramos and was spotted by the particularly observant Twitter user, Supererogatory, while browsing various game developer profiles on LinkedIn. Upon further digging, this time into the résumé of technical artist Dimitry Kachkovski, it was revealed the Crytek had also been working on another brand new title for multiple platforms called Redemption, which sadly was cancelled just six months into development.
Crytek are already hard at work on the Xbox 360 exclusive, Kinect-enabled Ryse, and although there is currently no word whatsoever on what the brand new IP could be, or even when it’s planned to be released, David’s résumé states it may already be one year into development. Despite the lack of concrete evidence, it’s a safe bet to assume that Crytek will want to launch a new FPS IP with enough innovation to distinguish itself from the slew of military shooters currently flooding the marketplace, not to mention Crytek’s own Crysis series.

Hope this one has a better story. Crysis 2 wasn’t bad, but there was no climax. There was no “holy crap” moment. The difficulty was weak too – I ran through the game on hard with the cloak on with virtually no problems.
I will say that I enjoyed fighting the pingers. Perhaps I should try out the Far Cry series?
I would like a PC exclusive game from a non-indie developer for a change. Yeah, that’d be great.
Where. The fuck. Is TimeSplitters 4?
