Groove Coaster Announced, Slips Into Spotlight

I really hope Groove Coaster is exactly what the name advertises it as. If it isn’t, I’m going to be a little saddened within my disco heart. Nevertheless, Reisuke Ishida, the man behind the insanity that was Space Invaders Infinity, is reportedly working on an entirely new game named Groove Coaster.

We know literally nothing about it besides that it is happening and there’s an invader wearing headphones accompanied by the logo of the new game on their official website. As the headphone touting invader pulses with a blue glow, the text on the teaser website mentions that it’ll be an “exhilarating next-gen groove game.” I have no idea what that even means, but it sounds promising.

If the words “exhilarating” and “groove” are in the same sentence, I’m always on board. It also seems we might not have to wait for too long, because according to the website, it’s labeled with the ever vague “soon” time frame.
