If you’re one of the millions of people not yet good enough to be on Google+, you’ll be delighted to know that it’s more amazing than you could possibly imagine. How amazing? Exclusive Minecraft screenshots amazing.
Creator Markus Persson, better known to the world’s block enthusiasts as Notch, has been rather busy on his + page, revealing all sorts details about the forthcoming Adventure Update. (Luckily, you plebeians without accounts can still view his page. I assume there’s some sort of velvet rope you have to stand behind.) He’s also been posting some screenshots, showcasing some of the new blocks and features that 1.8 will be bringing.
Above you can see part of a dungeon, complete with what appears to be a cage of some sort. In the two below screenshots, you can see NPC villages and some sort of underground dungeon. The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice a rash of new blocks through the screens, though it’s unclear whether the changes are purely cosmetic or not.

I knew Google+ would be useful.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, here.
