More screenshots of Final Fantasy XIII-2 have been released. It seems we have all the necessary ingredients for an RPG screenshot featurette:
- Mandatory high-resolution rendering of a character’s face
- Obligatory boss battle
- Odd RPG-style dialogue
- Random giant mechanical arm
Nothing out of the ordinary there.
Speaking of the huge metal hand, am I the only one that is reminded of the Batman: The Animated Series episode where Batman rode a giant robot hand? (Probably)
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will return to its PlayStation exclusive roots and be released this December in Japan, and early next year everywhere else. Just kidding, the five of you who like RPGs on the Xbox, you’ll get it too.
