Remember that story I posted a few hours ago? Well, I guess “few weeks” was too generous. It looks like Bethesda has taken a bullet, with LulzSec claiming that they have compromised their security. In an, er, official statement, Lulzsec stated that they have the personal information of over 200,000 users – but they wouldn’t be sharing the data with the public.
So why not share the user information? Apparently a Cthulu game published by Bethesda in 2005 has their affections. That, and they seem to have some respect for Bethesda.
Their benevolence only goes so far, however, as they did upload internal information supposedly stolen from Bethesda’s servers.
Well, whatever works, I guess.

OH BOY!/sarcasm. Time to change all my passwords…again.
Hackers are sooo silly =P. Just feeding offa the attention that the PSN got, so now it’s just a publicity war.
Go do something useful with yourselves, please. Go stop like war criminals or something.
Hide your social security numbers and credit card numbers!
(if this is a double post, im sorry)
What do they gain by doing this?
