Not Content with One Failure, Square Enix Aims for a Deuce
Have you not gotten your fill of angsty, effeminate, androgynous protagonists? You’re in luck! During a regular earnings briefing, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada, made passing remarks at a second large scale MMO to be announced some time this year, that will run in parallel with Final Fantasy XIV.
Given the troubled history of Final Fantasy XI along with the disaster that was Final Fantasy XIV, you wonder where Square Enix is getting the resources to develop another large scale MMO.
I think they just want to try pressing the redo button… I don’t know if it works that way though lol.
I think this one will flop just because people dont trust square for MMO’s
Why do they need 2 when their first one didn’t take off as planned? Stick to what you’re good at, (or used to be) single-player open world RPG’s.
