The next in line on a list of eight supposed New Vegas DLC packs, Honest Hearts has a new trailer in anticipation for its May 17th release date. While the barren landscape looks to be more or less the same thing you expect from the Fallout franchise, it appears to have a fairly interesting storyline that drops just enough information to make us want to know more about this Burned Man.
Check it out after the bump.
From Bethesda’s YouTube:
“An expedition into the unspoiled wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park goes horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. In Honest Hearts, the decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.”
May 17th sure seems like the wrong day to release anything if you aren’t a developer of L.A. Noire or The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Hell, the crowded release date probably scared the creators of F.E.A.R. 3 enough to delay their game ‘til next month. If we can pull ourselves away from a few other Triple A things, we’ll definitely be sitting down and enjoying the next tour of the nuclear winter.

Just hope this outing gives us more to look forward to then the first expansion pack… I still havn’t played it, but I’ve heard bad things about it.
I think it’d be cool if they did a “Shivering Isles” DLC for Fallout, just gives us a MASSIVE landmass to explore and a whole new storyline to follow that spans multiple hours. I’d be down for that!
Yeah… I’d be down for them to release an entire new game too.
As long as they have access to Bethesda’s new engine, I’d be totally fine with that. Granted Beth’s new engine fixes a lot of the glichy bugs and problems… Which we’ll see when Skyrim drops. It’s looking fantastic though, so my hopes are high!
THE BURNED MAN WALKS!
