A whole gigabyte of RAM!? What kind of Mr. Moneybags do you think I am?
On the off chance you are running a computer with specs circa 2005, you should be able to throw together a machine that can easily best the recommended specifications for cheap. Props to Gearbox for making a game that the masses can enjoy instead of requiring me to stack a nuclear reactor on my tower just to play on medium settings, Crysis style.

Isn’t there supposed to be a first access demo that game with the GOTY Borderlands purchase?
I’m still really interested to see how this game is going to do. I know it’s going to be a really funny game, and its gunna make me wanna play it, but I can’t see me shelling out $60 for this game. GIMME A REASON GEARBOX!!!
Perhaps I’m missing something but it seems like at the start of the article you’re saying the requirements are intense. But, at the end, you say they’re modest.
This game looks kind of terribad :/ why Gearbox why?!?
Don’t do much “gaming” My system meets the processor, and ram reqirements. However, I fell like a dummy here, but I only only have a keyboard and a mouse. Is there some sort of “game counsol” I need to/should purchase? If so, you would think it would be part of system requirements!
