In a brief press release, Nintendo revealed that it will show a playable version of its new console at E3. If that wasn’t enough of a surprise for you, Nintendo expects the console to ship in 2012.

The new console is rumored to be code-named “Project Café” – and speculation seems to paint it as a powerhouse. While this would be a radical departure from Nintendo’s previous consoles, it would certainly give the company a strong advantage over its competition, at least temporarily.

Expect rampant speculation to kick into overdrive as E3 edges closer. Looks like June is going to be an exciting month.

Currently suffering from an anticipation boner for what I hope to be the Alison Brie of systems; hoping they don’t unveil a Sarah Jessica Parker.

At least they finally offically confirmed the system. I’m pretty eager to see what they come out with…but at the same time really afraid that it’s not going to be what I’m expecting and end up letting me down bigtime!

E3 is going be bat shit insane!

Still on the fence how I feel. For a gamer I felt the wii ended up being a failure. Too much garbage, too few gems. But who knows…we’ll have to see.
