Funcom has released a trailer for their new MMO, The Secret World. The trailer shows around a minute of gameplay footage before it suddenly breaks into a text-only affair, flashing a series of conspiracy theories on the screen. While that may seem silly, it’s a central part of the game’s narrative.
The Secret World is based in an alternate world where every myth, conspiracy theory, urban legion and secret is true. So far, the game is rumored to have an incredibly dense story and I’m certainly excited to see how it all plays out.

I love the concept to death, but I’m afraid that when I sit down to play it, it’ll be the same gameplay mechanics that I’m already burned out on. Damn nice trailer!
