Hey guys, I have some good news! Come April 6th, Dawn of War 2 is getting DLC, and it isn’t just badges and color schemes. Unfortunatelyit also isn’t a new unit, or a new army, or even a new map. Relic is rolling out some cosmetic Army changes for the Space Marines (sigh), so we no longer have to play make believe with our badges and color schemes. A new DLC pack replaces several of the Space Marine units with brand new models, representing the long adored (yet unmistakably angsty) Dark Angels chapter.
The Force Commander becomes the Dark Angels Chapter Master, and the Space Marine Tac Squads don fancy white robes. Sounds neat, but the price tag is a bit ridiculous. $7.50 for a cosmetic change for a single army? I think I’ll hold off for now.
I completely agree with the pricing is a bit crazy considering you can more than likely after the patch just do some fiddling around and make base SMs into the DLC version.
This just seems really weird for Relic and terrible cash grab as well.
