Though I am a proud 3DS owner and quite happy with my purchase, it is impossible to not notice that certain anticipated titles were absent from the system’s launch. Notable among the missing titles is The Mercenaries 3D, a portable version of the fast-paced Mercenaries mode from Resident Evil 4 and 5. Now slated for release in Japan sometime this summer, Capcom is including a demo for their other 3DS Resident Evil game, Revelations, presumably to apologize for their lateness with Mercenaries.
Whereas Mercenaries is a multiplayer-focused arcade action game, Revelations is more akin to a traditional Resident Evil game. All that’s really known about Revelations at this point is that you’ll take control of series stalwart Jill Valentine, who is trapped on a large ocean liner full of the undead. Fortunately, Capcom promises more details at E3 in June, so we’ll have more for you when it becomes available.

If I ever want to be a member of the future, I need to purchase one of these magical devices. If only I had more money!
