Namco Bandai Trademarks Katamari Amore Rolling Whopper
According to recent trademark claims, the King of the Cosmos might make his fabulous return in Katamari amore. Namco Bandai has filed trademark claims for the titles Katamari Amore and Katamari amore Rolling Whopper. Absolutely amazing titles aside, it’s been some time since we’ve had to roll up giant balls of random stuff to please the King of the Cosmos. In fact, it’s been about a year and a half since Katamari Forever for the PlayStation 3 came out. It seems like it’s about time for another addition in the Katamari family, but it doesn’t explain the other trademark claims that Namco Bandai claimed.
In addition, they’ve claimed Time Trip and “Have a Nice Trip!” – but any explanation as to what on earth these could be or mean is absent. We’ll have to wait around to see what Time Trip is as well as hoping that “Rolling Whopper” stays as the title for the new Katamari game.
I’m guessing these will be the Katamari games on the 3ds. Whatever they are it is always nice to hear another Katamari game is rolling out
My PS3 has been lacking in pure, unfiltered happiness lately, I hope this ends up being a PS3 title. But the possibility of 3D Katamari on the 3DS is also appealing.
Namco is making a comeback!
