According to reports from Polygamia, the minimum specifications of upcoming RPG The Witcher 2 are surprisingly low compared to most new PC games. The minimum Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz and GeForce 8800 combo should allow the game to run on PC’s over three years old, giving the game a pretty wide audience. Even my Laptop meets the games recommended specs —
Recommended specs:
Processor: Intel Quad Core or AMD equivalent
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 260, 1 GB memory / Radeon HD 4850 with 1 GB memory
Memory: 3 GB for Windows XP / 4 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
Hard Disk: At least 16 GB of free spaceMinimum specs:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD equivalent
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800, 512 MB memory or ATI equivalent
Memory: 1 GB for Windows XP / 2 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
Hard Disk: 8 GB for the game installation and 8 GB for bonus materials
The Witcher 2 is due out May 17.

Anyone know if you buy it through Steam can you skip the bonus materials download? I just want to play the game and not double by download time.
My laptop barely holds out to new games (Radeon Mobility 4570) so I have to upgrade soon.
