Do you guys remember Strider? How rad it was to be a future ninja and slice guys up as you ran around messing up the Kazakh Republic’s crap? Well check out of this new trailer for Moon Diver heading to PSN next Tuesday, March 29. You may have seen this game under its original title, Necromania, but the developers have apparently decided to opt for something more nonsensical in its stead.

But why is this related to Strider? Well, inquiring reader, Moon Diver is from one of the leads on the 1989 Strider, Kouichi Yotsui, so we can expect an exceptional new take on the play-style that you may remember. It’s also adding in a really awesome four-player co-op mode that lets you play four unique characters with their own styles, instead of being stuck playing Hiryu.

Oh, and it is coming to XBLA, but there isn’t a solid release date yet. According to Siliconera, Square has said that it’ll be sometime in April.

Check out the insanity after the jump.
