MVC Patch Brings Balance Changes. Take That, Sentinel!

02

Sentinel

A new MVC3 patch has gone live today, bringing several changes to the game.  Though there’s no official list of changes, it has been confirmed that Sentinel has received a massive health nerf, hoping to knock that smug robot down a tier or two.  Also, allegedly, some infinites have been removed from the game as well, but these rumors stand as unconfirmed at the time or writing.

These changes have been made in preparation for MVC3′s new mode, Event Mode, which has event specific battles for players to fight through.  That’s scheduled to hit on the 25th, but I’m content simply seeing that Capcom is dedicated to fixing the game’s issues and creating a quality product.

Does anyone here play this game on the PS3? I’m always looking for people to practice with! Add me so we can duke it out together!

Event mode sounds really sweet 2, hopefully it’ll flush out some more of the story of this awesome franchise! Now is the 25th refering to March 25th, or April 25th?

Thank god. I’m hoping they dive further than just balancing the game, though. MvC3 needs a bit of restructuring before enthusiasts consider it a legitimate competitive fighter.

These ridiculous infinites and easy combos really lower the bar.
