Itching for a little PvP in your Magicka? According to a tweet posted to the official Magicka twitter account, work on a PvP system will commence as soon as Magicka: Vietnam ships.
The tweet mentions an achievement for defeating developers, tacking on that they “better build (A PvP System) right after Magicka Vietnam.” Vietnam, the first expansion for Magicka, will be released sometime this Spring, so it is realistic to expect PvP within the game in the near future.

If you don’t already have this wonderful little gem, I STRONGLY suggest you get it!! It’s a cheap way to hack n’ slash thru a really creative world, and this just makes it even better!
For the record:
This game will not run on some older PCs. Though it doesn’t look resource heavy, it was poorly optimized.
Magicka is a wonderfully fun game. Definitely worth picking up (on the PC, dunno how 360 plays).
The PvP should be good. Hopefully they have some arenas/levels where you fight hordes of mobs in addition to other players.
The game is already PvP, heh heh. Heh.
