Rockstar Re-releases Old L.A. Noire Trailer, Now With Pop-Ups

Rockstar has apparently decided that the best way to release new information on its upcoming detective game L.A. Noire is by releasing old trailers and just adding pop-ups to them. Just like the pop-up ads you’re familiar with, these pop-ups completely disrupt the flow of the trailer, and are kind of annoying. Unlike the pop-ups your familiar with – where you’ve apparently won the lotto every time you load a webpage – these pop-ups at least add some information you might actually be interested in.

Some of them tell you about the real-world influences on the game, others offer information about gameplay, and some are just interesting historical tidbits, like the average salary of an LAPD officer in 1947.
