Faux AAA developer, Gameloft, recently announced they’ll be releasing four new titles (presumably for the App Store) that take full advantage of mobile Unreal Engine 3. Infinity Blade, released by Epic Games, is currently the only UE3 game on the iPhone (if you don’t count the Epic Citadel tech demo), and it’s certainly the most beautiful.
While gamers tend to give Gameloft a lot of crap for blatantly copying successful IPs, there’s no denying their App Store titles are some of the most polished experiences you can have on the iPhone. While most of their mobile games are already visually impressible, the jump to UE3 will certainly take it to the next level.
Details on their four UE3 games are scarce, though we know two will release this year, and two will release in 2012. My guess is that we’ll be seeing Cogs of Battle and Unbelievable Competition by the end of the year.

I was looking forward to Assassin’s Oath and Borderworlds.
that image makes me think that that paticular game is going to be a lot like mirror edge.
Dungeon Defenders: First Wave is also powered by Unreal, I believe.
I have a grudge against Gameloft: they completely screwed up Oregon Trail. Seriously, it’s horrible.
I want to play World of Battlecraft
