Sony PSP Cut to $129.99 in America, Europe Still Gets Screwed

Sony has announces that the price of its PSP will be reduced to an insanely reasonable $129.99 in North America from February 27. While this is great news for American gamers wanting to pick up a (relatively) cheap portable to see them through until the launch of Sony’s NGP, the European price remains at a abnormally high $210 (£130, €160). According to VG247, Sony has no plans to lower the Euro price anytime soon.

So yeah… sorry Europe, but Sony still hates you. Still, if you’re in the US or Canada you can take comfort in the fact that you’re getting such a great deal on the PSP compared to folks across the pond. The console giant also announced that the North American price of PSP entertainment packs, which include the console and bundled games, has been reduced to $159.99.

Lol, Europe. Where is that country anyway? Next to Narnia, couple miles away from Middle Earth?
