Gears of War 3 Beta Launches Mid-April, Epic Invites you to Vote on Maps

Lucky Bulletstorm Epic Edition owners will get the chance to experience the Gears of War 3 public beta starting mid-April, according to Epic’s Mike Capps. When GameSpot quizzed him on the timing of the beta, the Epic Games president said –

“We’ve been saying spring. My guess is it will be sometime around April or so. It’s going to be early enough so it really impacts Gears [of War 3's] development, but we want to make sure everyone has the chance to play Bulletstorm before they jump right into the beta.”

Epic showed off some of Gears of War 3’s multiplayer components at a press event last Thursday, and a the same time the developer opened the floodgates to allow fans to choose extra maps to be included in the Gears 3 beta. Fans can head over to the Gears 3 Facebook page to cast their votes.
