Sequel to the 2007 RPG of the Year, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings continues to impress with screenshots of in-game footage that will drop your jaw. Graphics aren’t everything, but with three different openings and 16 different endings it looks like CD Projekt is putting
just as much care into the story as they are into making it look pretty.
With every little screenshot, gameplay video, engine display and story explanation, Witcher 2 looks to be a strong contender for RPG of the year and at the very least, compete with the rest of the talent in 2011 for Game of the Year. Based on what I’ve seen so far and CD Projekt’s track record it looks like the only hindrance Witcher 2 will have is that fact that it doesn’t begin with “The Elder Scrolls”.
