Dragon Age II Poised to Destroy Your Child’s Fragile Mind
Based on the ESRB’s rating summary for Dragon Age II, we’ve learned the game will feature an implied oral sex scene. Put on your ponchos, folks, because we’re forecasting a media shitstorm. It sounds like the scene will be pretty tame, as the ESRB states that “there is no depiction of the sex act; the camera pans out to the rest of the room.” Even so, remember the huge deal Fox News and other outlets made about Mass Effect’s “graphic sex scenes” that were anything but? Yeah, there’s no way this is going to be any smoother.
Now, Mass Effect was good-old-fashioned baby-making sex (even though it was potentially interspecies, which I’m sure is a big no-no in the Heartland). Just imagine all the harm that could happen to young, undeveloped minds if they see such indecent acts like fellatio!
If you’re a true conservative, you certainly understand the need for a nanny-state that protects us all from such horrific unnatural acts, right? Err… wait, maybe I’m getting my politics mixed up, but whatever. Unless the media and politicians actually learned from the Mass Effect ordeal (unlikely) I expect to be seeing more hilariously uninformed opinions condemning another Bioware game for graphic sex scenes sometime soon.
There was actually sort of an implied oral sex moment in Origins too. You can run into a guard being “serviced” by a maid in one of the side quests in Denerim.
If only there was some way for Bioware to incorporate both all that excessive bloodshed and sex.

Dragon Age nearly destroyed my adult mind by sucking, and I don’t mean in a sexual kind of way.
I thought Dragon Age was decent, but I ended up disappointed since they referred to it at one point as “the spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate”, and it was no where near as awesome, nor was it even really the same style of RPG. It ended up taking me months to finish just because that depression hit me every time I loaded the game.

As a female here… Can’t wait! As a rather avid gamer, I still can’t help but I love this in games. They make romancing Alistair for hours (mostly) worth it.
