More bad news about our only hope for a new MMO in a galaxy far, far, away. It seems as though BioWare’s overconfidence is their weakness, because they won’t be hitting their Spring 2011 release date for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Instead, BioWare told MCV today that they expect their Star Wars MMO to be in stores this September.
Even though it’s been in development for over two years, delays are understandable if they game’s as big as BioWare says it is. That is, it will have “more content than Mass Effect one and two, Dragon Age, Knights of The Old Republic and Baldur’s Gate combined”. BioWare’s never let me down before, but all of these negative reports about SW:TOR are starting to get worrisome.
