Duke Finally All Out of Gum: DNF Release Date Confirmed

In April 1997, the development of Duke Nukem Forever began. Fourteen years and a gazillion, hojillion dollars later it finally has a confirmed release date: Duke will be landing on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 on Tuesday May 3, 2011, with the rest of the world getting DNF the following Friday, May 6.

The news first slipped out through Game Informer, which confirmed the date with developer Gearbox and publisher 2K Games.

“The moment fans all over the world have been waiting for is almost here,” says Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “May 3, 2011 marks Duke’s return as he unleashes his brash and brutally honest wit on the world. His return is going to be epic and one that will make video gaming history!”
