Sledgehammer Games is hiring, gearing up for a brand new Call of Duty first person shooter as listed on their website. No story details or other information is given, but with rumors pointing towards Raven Software as the heir to the Call of Duty franchise, we’re left wondering if there might be more than one COD game launching this year (if rumors hold true, that is). With no real information given, we’ll either have to wait for further announcements regarding the franchise or, if you’re in the market for a job, run through Sledgehammer’s interview process for a position in the company. Seems as though there are quite a few positions to fill, so if you’re qualified you could certainly do worse than the world’s most profitable video game franchise.
If you do manage to somehow weasel your way into the company, geeks, be sure to send any juicy leaks our way first. I’m sure everyone is eagerly awaiting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but I won’t stop hoping for Call of Duty: Revolutionary War to finally start production. All these new shooters have too much moving about for my taste and I want a game where I can expect my enemy to march patiently towards me in a straight line while I reload. Sledgehammer Games, if you’re reading this, remember that you have the power to make this happen. Please don’t let me down, Sledge.
