Dragon Age II DLC Already Announced Before the Game’s Release

Seems that Bioware forgot to include some content on the disc of their new game Dragon Age II, but don’t worry.  Pay a little bit extra and they’ll be happy to make the content available for download when it becomes available.  The expansion is set to cost $7 for the digital download, or you can get it with the special “Signature Edition” if you’ve pre-ordered the game.  You can expect another companion and additional side quests to undertake for your hard earned cash.

To be honest, this seems a bit ridiculous to everyone here at Piki Geek.  DLC at launch?  It’s hardly even an expansion at that stage.  In fact, it feels like they’re simply locking out content to encourage Signature Edition purchases.  No, wait, they probably just ran out of time while developing the game and had to give this little bit of content an extra bit of spit shine before releasing it to their adoring fans.  I bet that means that this content is going to be extra awesome and completely worth the price of admission!  Geez, maybe we shouldn’t be so darn cynical all the time.

Maybe the trailer will shed a little more insight into why this content couldn’t be included on the disc.  Give it a good look, geeks, and tell us what you think in the comments.
