Mass Effect 2 Getting New DLC after a ‘Cerberus Network’ Break

According to the Mass Effect 2’s “Cerberus Daily News”, its in-game Cerberus Network, which offers daily text updates and free DLC, will stop its daily postings on January 24. No need to fret though, as the Cerberus Network will be back for three weeks before the release of Mass Effect 3. The update states that these three weeks will consist of “A week of posts [that] will precede a downloadable content release, and two more weeks [that] will lead up to the release of Mass Effect 3”.

So far, there has been no news whether this will be premium or free DLC, but does it even matter? If I’m willing to shell out $60 for Mass Effect 3 on release day, I’m certainly not going to be able to resist $10 DLC to keep my addiction going strong.
