Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine is a lot of things: raconteur, philosophy buff, game designer, and, unbeknownst to us, interviewer to the stars. Apparently Levine has started a monthly podcast over at the Irrational blog where he picks the brains of the geek elite, from comic writer Brian Michael Bendis to Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski. This month, Levine goes tête-à-tête with the “man who takes nerds seriously,” Watchmen and 300 director Zack Snyder. The result is a fascinating 20 minute discussion of narrative theory, adaptation, and the universally terrible state of video game movies. It’s definitely worth a listen.
