Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is coming stateside, and it’s happening sooner than you might’ve thought: February 15th. Let Us Cling Together is a remake of the game that was released under the same name for the Super Famicom, Sega Saturn and Playstation. The remake is being done by the original development team, so players can at least expect it to be faithful (and really freaking good).

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is a tactical RPG, which is sort of like a combination of a traditional RPG and a turn-based strategy game (think Final Fantasy Tactics). Essentially you have an army, and that army is composed of characters who you can level up along different pathways and that you command on a turn-based battlefield.

While many in the US may not know much about the Tactics Ogre series, they certainly have reason to be excited if the Japanese launch is any indication of the game’s quality. Tactics Ogre: Unmei no Wa (the Japanese title) was the best-selling game in all of Japan last week, selling an amazing 176,000 units in its debut week. If you can’t wait that long, you can always see if maybe it’ll come out earlier with the official Tactics Ogre Tarot Card Deck… or you could just wait, your call.
